About Todd
Todd Thompson is an Iowa farm boy who moved to the big city.
He is fascinated by the paradox that God’s perfect purposes for us are lived and learned in imperfect moments. Taking note of God’s common thread of grace helps to connect the seemingly random events and experiences in our ragged edge lives.
As a career, Todd does fabulous dinner shows for Saladmaster Cookware. When he’s not working magic in someone’s kitchen, he loves to write, listen to music, and do volunteer work with his kids. Every September he subjects himself to another season of futility as a long-suffering fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern College and a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Leadership Development from Phoenix Seminary. He’s grateful for the privilege of having served as a part-time teaching pastor at Hope Covenant Church in Chandler, Arizona.
After 14 years in the Phoenix valley, he currently resides in Lubbock, Texas with his twin daughters Annie and Emma.
Todd’s greatest adventure was going from no kids to 2 kids in 23 days.
His greatest challenge is learning to be a better Dad.
His greatest blessing is the daily grace of God in his life.
